Aillwee Cave: This cave was formed by the glacial melt waters of an early ice age. The erosive power of the waters carved out an subterrainian river deep underneath Aillwee mountain. This river has subsided since the last ice age, leaving behind one of Ireland's most stunning caves.
There is also Burren Birds of Prey Centre from the crest of the Aillwee hills glides one of the many birds used in the Burren Birds of Prey flight displays. Eagles, buzzards, owls and falcons fly in a magnificent display of grace and power. The open air grass arena at the base of the Aillwee hills provides an opportunity to interact with the birds in their natural environment. The close proximity allows for extraordinary photo opportunities of the birds in free flight.
