Anglers Country Park: The area is situated near Wintersett Reservoir in countryside surroundings. Also a starting point for a number of easy-to-follow walks along the wider network of footpaths and bridleways including Waterton trail, woodland walk and Barnsley Canal towpath. There are bird hides on the pond and the main lake to see wildlife. The Waterton Countryside Discovery Centre at Anglers which has displays on Charles Waterton, the 19th century naturalist who created what is thought to be the world's first nature reserve.
