Ardcastle: A woodland set between the A83 and the shores of Loch Fyne. There are a number of sites in the wood of archaeological and wildlife interest such as St Brides Chapel and the graveyard by the shores of Loch Gair or the old sand quarry where many butterflies can be found. There are two walks from the car park, Crag walk which uses good paths and is 1.5 miles long. The other is hazel burn walk which is a two mile circular trail going down to shore of Loch Fyne.
