The Arnold Memorial reserve is an old quarry within Craster Heugh a whinstone outcrop. The secondary scrub and woodland along with its coastal location makes this reserve particularly important for both migrant and breeding birds includeing sedge and willow warbler, chiffchaff and blackcap. The woodland and scrub includes sycamore, ash, elm, scots pine, elder and gorse with willow fringing the stream.

South west of Craster village, car parking in the public car park beside the reserve. Access is from the car park.
