Arrochar

UK»Scotland»Strathclyde»Arrochar

There are seveal paths starting from Arrochar and Tarbet Railway Station. The Cobbler starts by the path climbing gently to a forest road. The next section, which takes goes to the tree line, is steeper, and the path - though mostly dry - is less uniform. From the tree line, the walk takes an upland hill path, which is firm underfoot, but very steep in places. Arrochar walk is two miles long passes through a mixed woodland. Stronafyne loop is a 0.25 mile circular trail. The walk starts with a moderate climb to the viewpoint then returns to the head of Loch Long with a gradual descent through woodland and a riverside track.
