Legend

Home to just four ghosts but more ghostly goings on between its ancient walls than first meets the visitor. The spirit of the first is Earl of Arundel, the second spirit is said to be of a young woman, the third spirit is that of a ‘Blue Man’ and forth ‘spirit’ is that of a white owl like bird.

How to get here

Car

4 miles north of Littlehampton and the south coast, and midway between Chichester and Worthing on the A27. Please follow the brown and white tourist road signs.

Train

There is a frequent direct train service from London (Victoria Station) and intermediate stations, including Gatwick Airport.
Frequent trains also run from Brighton, Worthing, Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, Chichester and Portsmouth. (Some journeys involve a change of train.)
The Castle is a pleasant ten-minute walk or a short taxi ride from Arundel station.

Coach
