Bagshaw Museum: A Victorian former mill owner's house set in 36 aces of parkland and ancient woodland, the museum is host to a collection of things from around the globe. Permanent displays include an atmospheric Egyptology gallery where lighting effects help to recreate the interior of a tomb; Enchanted Forest, with sound effects and creatures from the Amazonian rainforest; the 'Gods, Divine Creatures The Mythical Beasts' gallery, showcasing decorative arts from India, China, Africa and Japan; and 'The Seaside, Past and Present' gallery.
