How to get here
Car
Take the B4228 heading north from Chepstow, for St Briavels and beyond. Half a mile (0.8 km) north of Woodcroft, Lancaut Lane is signposted to the left. You can park about 250 yards along the lane. The steep access path into Lancaut wood is 150 yards further on, on the left. A public footpath runs through the wood from the remains of Lancaut Chapel to below Pen Moel, returning via Offa’s Dyke footpath along the cliff top.
