From Newent:
From the city centre take the A40 (for Ross on Wye) and then turn right onto the B4215. Continue on this road through Newent and take the third turning on the left (about 2 miles past Newent) onto an unclassified road. Continue for about 1.5 miles. A path on the left gives access to the wood.

From M5:
The wood can be reached from Junction 3 of the M50. Take the B4221 to Gorsley Common and take the first turn on the left, onto an unclassified road described above.
