Mammals found on the site include Otter, Bank vole, Pipistrelle Bat, Water Vole, Red Squirrel and Water Shrew. Many birds can be spotted at the site including Pochard, Redshank, Oystercatcher, Water Rail, Common sandpiper, Lapwing and Sand Martin. Two bird hides provide viewing platforms.
