Bishops Bowl Lakes: Great strides are being taken by the new owners in restoring this once leading Midlands fishery to its former glory. Stocks of specimen sized roach, tench, carp and bream are being transferred from two large and un fished former quarries on the site. Bishops Bowl comprises five lakes on a 100 acre complex, offering match, pleasure and specimen carp angling, on waters which differ in characteristics from large and open sheer faced flooded disused quarries to small, shrub surrounded pools. The normal rules apply, keepnets can not be used for pleasure fishing, groundbait is allowed in moderation but, as usual, its barbless hooks only.
