Brenfield Farm: Horse riding for a short ride in and around the hills and forests above the village of Ardrishaig on the western shores of Loch Fyne. For complete beginners the one hour hack is generally most suitable. Another gentle ride suitable for riders of all experiences is the swim ride. Clay pigeon shooting is also available.

How to get here


From Glasgow:
Take the A82 North signposted for Loch Lomond and Crianlarich. At Tarbet, join the A83 and follow the road through Inveraray to Lochgilphead. From Lochgilphead follow the A83 South (towards Campbeltown) through the village of Ardrishaig, about two miles further on there is a turning on the right, signposted Argyll Trail Riding and Brenfield Farm. If you reach the B8024 road to Kilberry, then you have gone about a mile too far South.
