Brindley Water Mill

Brindley Water Mill: Maintains and operates a restored water-powered corn-mill built by James Brindley.

A working mill, producing meal, vibrates, throbs, rumbles, creaks and grinds: you can feel it. It has a special aroma. There is no substitute for the real thing - and our guides make your visit extra special.

The mill houses a small museum dedicated to Brindley's life and achievements.
