Broom House Farm: We have a herd of beautiful Aberdeen Angus cattle, as well as a large flock of Lleyn sheep and an increasing herd of Saddleback pigs. Our animals are reared outside on grass pastures in the summer and in woods and straw barns during the muddiest winter months. Enjoy a taste of the countryside meet some of our farm animals and see our sheep and cattle grazing in the nearby pastures Don't miss the piglets, the ducks and the doves, shetland pony and his friends in the paddock!

The Broom House Woodland Adventure Trail offers Durham's most exciting action packed fun for all the family. Follow the trails, attempt the woodland challenges...climb the towers, wizz down the slide, fly along the zip wire and dare to enter the tunnels. Solve the quizzes amongst the trees, there's something for all ages.

Enter Woodpecker Wood, choose your path and use your instincts to explore the woodland. Meet the unexpected at every turn and enjoy the magic of nature. Sit and enjoy the tranquil scenery, watch wildlife from the hide and learn about the trees and animals in the wood.

Grassy picnic and play area with giant bale maze, sandpit, climbing frame, swings, pedal tractors, games and lots more.
