How to get here

Car

From the east, North Devon is best reached along the A361 then the A39. This route is reached from Junction 27 on the M5. If you are travelling from the west or south the best access is via the A39 up through Bude or the A386 from Okehampton. Follow the road to Lynton from Barnstaple town centre, then turn left towards Ilfracombe after the hospital

Train

North Devon is served by the Tarka Line from Exeter St David's to Barnstaple. One of the countries prettiest scheduled train routes, it provides a beautiful entry to North Devon.
