Bure Valley Railway: The line between Aylsham and Wroxham runs through some beautiful countryside and along the way you will catch glimpses of the fledgling River Bure as it makes its way to the sea at Great Yarmouth. You will also see the foot and cycle path which runs the complete length of the railway.

How to get here

Aylsham is situated about 12 miles north of Norwich on the main A140 Norwich to Cromer Road. The station is easy to find. Approaching from Norwich, go straight at the roundabout, heading towards Aylsham town centre, and the station is well signposted a few hundred yards on the right hand side.

Wroxham is about 8 miles north-east of Norwich on the A1151. The BVR station is adjacent to the main Norwich to Sheringham railway station. Approaching from Norwich, just over Wroxham river bridge, turn left at Roys of Wroxham (Station Road). Turning left again, under the railway bridge and the BVR station car park is on the right.
If travelling from the North East, coming along either the A1151 or A1062 at the double round-abouts in Hoveton, follow the signs for Coltishall, once you go under the railway bridge the BVR station car park is on the right.
