UK»England»Warwickshire»Burton Hills Country Park

Opened as a country park in 1971, the 100 acres site known as Burton Hills Country Park contains a wealth of historical interest such as the prominent beacon, quarry remains and the nearby 12th Century All Saints Church. The site comprises a series of rugged hilltops affording spectacular views in all directions and Fox Covert, a small woodland with a surfaced footpath. There are many activities to be enjoyed at the park with interpretive information points across the site waymarking the features and distances and picnic areas in several old quarry working areas. There is also a orientation platform on Magpie Hill and a separate area for model glider flying, by permission only.
