Costumed interpreters bring history to life, creating the most exciting kind of interactive experience.The 1825 Kitchen forms the centre-piece of this interactive experience and you can sample authentic Georgian food, listen to stories about life below stairs, and watch kitchen staff go about their daily tasks. The Forbes's Falkirk exhibition on the top floor of the house occasionally includes costumed interpretation on early 19th century clockmaking, shopkeeping and printing.


Falkirk Museum Service cares for a wide variety of objects that reveal the story of the Falkirk area. The collection includes items from a wide range of subject areas including - Archaeological finds, Art, Social history, Industrial Falkirk and Textiles.
