Castle Cornet

A castle built during the thirteenth century. Inside are four museums, the maritime museum, which includes maritime art as well as artefacts from a Gallo-Roman wreck. The 201 Squadron RAF Museum shows items relating to the history of the 201 Squadron, items on display include torpedoes and an engine from an Avro Shackelton. The Militia Museum displays items from Guernsey's military history, such as weapons, medals and letters from soldiers. The Story of Castle Cornet Museum shows the history of the castle showing models replicas and original artefacts.
