Catcleugh Reservoir

UK»England»Northumberland»Catcleugh Reservoir

Catcleugh Reservoir was the most dramatic change inflicted on these high moors of Norhumberland since the border forest was created in the 19th century. The seven-roomed cabin which was used by the construction workers was restored in the early 1990s and is now used as the reservoir's visitor centre, with displays depicting living and working conditions, including period interiors and furnishings, original tools and company records.
