Chesterfield Parish Church

UK»England»Derbyshire»Chesterfield»Chesterfield Parish Church

Chesterfield Parish Church: The spire of Chesterfield church is looked upon with amazement by many people who travel by it, at a distance it is easy to believe the many fantasies that have grown up about it. It was in fact attached to the existing stone tower many years later, and is of green timber construction, hence its inclination, and the twist was part of the original design. There are many features of interest in the church which is lucky to be here after a devastating fire in 1962.
