Oaken Wood

8.8 hectares (22 acres) which is a mixture of mature trees, coppice, scrub and grassland on clay soil.

Fir Tree Copse

6.42 ha (15.86 acres) which comprise of oak and ash with an understorey of hazel coppice , it is particularly worth a visit in spring when the ground flora includes bluebell, wood anemone, yellow pimpernel, dog’s mercury, enchanter’s nightshade, wood speedwell, pignut and wood sorrel.
