The 880 bus leaves Hexham for Wark. It is then a mile and a half walk to the casle.

Train

Nearest railway station is Hexham.

Car

A69 to A6079, then through Barrasford. Or A69 to A6079, then Kielder route on B6318. Signs to follow from Wark.
From Hexham, take the Kielder route or A69 to Acomb through Wall village and straight across Brunton Crossroads to Chollerton/Barrasford. Signs for Chipchase Castle at entrance..
