The Chippenham Museum and Heritage Centre tells the story of the town and it's people from pre-historic times to the present day. Displays, on two floors, focus on Chippenham's links to Alfred the Great, the town's celebrated cheese market and the Victorians. There is a working model of a flour mill and life size mannequins dressed in World War Two costumes.
