Coity Castle is a Norman castle in the community of Coity Higher near the town of Bridgend. The castle began as a late 11th century ringwork, until a stone keep and curtain wall were added by the Normans in the 12th century. Extensive reworking took place in the 14th century when a domestic range was added and again in the 15th century which saw the addition of a gatehouse.
