Considering that this reserve was a working quarry until 1970, the site now hosts a remarkable variety of habitats.


The scrub and woodland also support an abundance of breeding birds in the summer months.

How to get here

Car

The reserve is situated near the villages of Colwich and Little Haywood just off the A51. Access is via Kingfisher Drive on the eastern side of the A51.
