Corsehillmuir Wood: Birch dominates the canopy accompanied by ash, alder and willow. Mature beech trees occupy one area. Lush mosses and ferns carpet the woodland floor, keeping it a vibrant green throughout the year. Old drains occur throughout the wood, sometimes expanding into interesting areas of marsh.
