Coton Countryside Reserve: The Coton countryside reserve is a new project , managed by the Cambridge Preservation Society, and supported by funding associated with the new growth in Cambridgeshire of which Northstowe is a part. There is access to managed farmland with laid out paths from both Coton and Barton, to the west of Cambridge. The new planting is in sympathy with the natural fauna and includes native trees such as ash, field maple, hazel and hawthorn, there is a wild flower meadow area with picnic benches and an interpretation board, and it has terrific views of the sunsets across the Cambridgeshire countryside. As with all these sites please observe the Country Code.
