UK»England»Northumberland»Druridge Bay

Druridge Bay: The Park comprises of three miles of beautiful wide sandy beach and sand dunes which stretches from Amble in the north to Cresswell in the south and there is also an unofficial nudist beach between Northumberland Coast Country Park and the National Trust section near the village of Druridge, the reserve also includes a large 100 acre freshwater lake which is surrounded by woods and meadows. The lake is available for launching windsurfers and non-motorised boats (by permit), and sailing, windsurfing and canoeing courses are held each summer. You can also enjoy watching birds on the lake and seashore, discover the many wild flowers on the dunes or, for the more active, fly a kite or take a dip in the sea. The Park is a good base from which to explore the surrounding area by bike.
