Eastney Beach

UK»England»Hampshire»Portsmouth»Eastney Beach

Eastney Beach is just under 1.5 miles in length and located to the south-eastern end of Portsea Island. The beach here is a very special habitat known as vegetated shingle. The conditions are stable enough for specially adapted plants to grow unlike most other shingle beaches where waves disturb the shingle too much for the plants to establish.
