Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower: Explosion, The Museum of Naval Firepower is an award winning, hands on, interactive museum telling the story of naval warfare from the days of gunpowder to modern missiles.

The museum includes a nationally significant collection of guns and naval ordnance, an original 18th century gunpowder vault and social history of the people who supplied the Navy from the days of Trafalgar to the Gulf War.

Car

M27 to junction 11. Follow A32 to Gosport and brown tourist signs to Explosion Museum at Priddys Hard.

Train

Mainline route London to Portsmouth Harbour. Take the frequent ferry service across to Gosport (3mins). From the Ferry at Gosport, turn right and follow the Millennium Promenade to Explosion at Priddy’s Hard (20mins walk) or taxi to Forton Lake Bridge (3mins).

Bus

From Gosport Bus Station or connected routes Service 29/30. Service running from the bus station to Royal Clarence Yard and Weevil Lane.
