Finemere Wood

UK»England»Buckinghamshire»Finemere Wood

Once the hunting ground of medieval kings, Finemere Wood in Bucks, is a rich mosaic of woodland wildlife habitats abounding with birds and butterflies. The tiny goldcrest breeds here and all three woodpeckers occur. If you are lucky you may see the magnificent purple emperor butterfly on the main ride in July and August.
