Glapthorn Pastures: A mix of blackthorn scrub and mature woodland. The variety of habitats at Glapthorn Cow Pastures provide homes for many different kinds of wildlife. The mature woodland in the northern half is dominated by ash while the southern part is mainly blackthorn with some oak.

Felling to maintain sunny, wide rides good for plants and insects. Mowing rides to encourage wild flowers. Coppicing and thinning trees to create conditions for wild flowers, birds and insects.

Car

Oundle two and a half miles. From Oundle centre head north on Glapthorn road. In Glapthorn keep left and take road towards the Benefields. After 1 mile reserve is on right.
