Gleaston Water Mill: Provides public access to a working water corn mill.

Visitors to the mill can see the 18 foot (5.5 metre) waterwheel and machinery operating most days.

Re-built in 1774, the present structure is a typical imposing Georgian building of three storeys, the walls and lintels of which contain much red sandstone.

Car

Gleaston Watermill is sign posted from the A5087 Ulverston to Barrow-in-Furness coast road from Aldingham via Scales, and from Gleaston Village. There are additional small waterwheel repeater signs in both villages.
