Goyt Valley

UK»England»Derbyshire»Goyt Valley

In the heart of the Peak District National Park lies the Goyt Valley, with the Errwood Reservoir central to its charm. It is also home to the old ruined Errwood Hall and a small shrine or chapel, erected by the Grimshawe family to the memory of the teacher at the estate school. The rhododendrons planted by the Grimshawes have flourished and now strictly managed.
