This award winning attraction also houses the Great Dunmow Town Museum which features many artefacts and displays illustrating the social life and history of the town - including the famous Flitch Chair still used in the well known Flitch Trials every leap year.

The 1850 Great Dunmow Fire Engine and the Fordham Lantern Clock built in the town by John Fordham in 1710 - examples of the many fascinating items on display at the museum.
