H M Frigate Unicorn is the oldest British built ship afloat being launched in 1825 from Chatham dock. She was built as the last wooden ships were being phased out with the iron ships coming into their own. This man o war with her 46 guns and impressive interiors is a unique ship and will not fail to delight and awe the visitor.

The Unicorn is 5 minutes walk south from the Bus Station.

Train

The Unicorn is only a few minutes by taxi, or 5-10 minutes walk from the Dundeer railway station, following the river-front walkway.

Car

From Edinburgh and Perth:
Take A85 dual carriageway towards Dundee City Centre, then follow the brown tourist signs to the ship.
From Fife:
Take A92 over the Tay Road Bridge, then follow brown tourist signs to the ship.
From Aberdeen:
Take A90(T) towards Dundee City Centre, then follow brown tourist signs to the ship.
From DISCOVERY:
There is a signed river-front walkway between the two ships, which takes 5-10minutes to walk.
