Hever Gardens

Originally marshland, the 125 acre (50 ha) gardens were laid between 1904 and 1908 by Joseph Cheal and Son.
Now containing Tudor, Italian, Rose, Azalea Spring gardens with water features, herbaceous borders and a rhododendron walk.

Once the tour has been completed continue to soak up the Halloween atmosphere in the Moat Restaurant over a reviving 3-course meal.

Christmas Winter Wonderland

A wonderful magical Christmas at Hever Castle with sparkling Christmas trees, Father Christmas, snow dusted grotto, ‘The Silver Skates’ storytelling, ice maze, carols, traditional brass bands, Christmas donkey rides, festive shopping and fairytale lighting when the castle opens it’s doors this Christmas.
Between the 3rd and 20th December (Thursday-Sunday) visitors will see the castle traditionally decorated with twinkling Christmas trees, beautiful decorations and seasonal garlands adorning the rooms. The crackling of the log fire as it burns in the Dining Hall and the sound of seasonal music will captivate the spirit of Christmas.
As dusk falls the castle and gardens will sparkle with thousands fairy lights and enchanting colours creating a winter wonderland for the start of the festive season.
Visit Santa in his cabin, book to see Mrs Christmas and ‘The Silver Skates’ Story in the castle.

Hever Castle is located 30 miles from Central London.
3 miles SE of Edenbridge, off the B2026, between Sevenoaks
and East Grinstead. Exit M25 junctions 5 or 6. 30 minutes from
Gatwick. 1 hour from Heathrow. 1.5 hours from Folkestone
and Dover.

Train

London Victoria/London Bridge to Edenbridge Town
(3 miles from castle - taxis available) or Hever Station (1 mile rural
walk from castle - no taxis).
