Highland Folk Museum: The collections mainly reflect the social and rural life of the Scottish Highlands. The Museums collection of buildings and building parts are stored, displayed and interpreted at Newtonmore. Permanent and temporary exhibitions and displays open to the public for learning and enjoyment.

Newtonmore, opened in 1995, is a mile long living history site that includes re-constructed buildings, a 1700s Township, a 1940 working farm, live interpretation and a range of visitor facilities.
