From London and South

A12 Northbound, A14 Eastbound

From Midlands and North

A14 Eastbound

From East Anglia (North/West)

A140 South, A14 Eastbound

Follow signs for A14 Felixstowe, continue over the Orwell Bridge and exit at next slip road (Junction 57), signed Nacton and Ransomes Europark, follow signs to Town Centre and Cliff Quay. Take the second exit at the Thrasher pub roundabout, and continue approx. half a mile, turn right into Lindbergh Road. Follow along into Cobham Road.

From East Anglia (East Coast): A12 South, A14 Westbound

Join A14 westbound, leave at first exit (Junction 57),signed Nacton and Ransomes Europark, follow signs to Town Centre and Cliff Quay, as detailed above.


Trains to Ipswich. Bus from Station to town centre.


Ipswich Buses

Service 2, from the town centre - every thirty minutes Mon to Sat. During the Summer months open top service 30 - hourly. These two services stop outside the museum.

First Eastern Counties

Service 62 - from the town centre to Felixstowe Road Bridge - every twenty minutes Mon-Sat. Service 62A hourly on Sundays and evenings. Museum visible from the railway bridge - approximately 5 minutes walk.
