Judges Lodging, Powys: Opened in 1829 as a combination of court room, accommodation for judges, and administrative centre for the county of Radnorshire. From the judges apartments to the servants quarters. Also cells and courtroom. Visitors to the building are accompanied by an eavesdropping audiotour of voices from the past; which they will tell their tale, from Mary the hardworking maid, to Reverend Richard Lister Venables, Chairman of the Magistrates and employer of the famous diarist Francis Kilvert.
