Kielder Water Fishery: Kielder Water offers the fisherman some very rewarding fishing, it has 20 miles of available shoreline and a fleet of 15, 17 foot "Orkney Longliner" boats. The waters are stocked weekly from a variety of points and tend to stay close to the shore. It is amulti bait venue and offers excellent fly fishing with some brown nice trout to be caught. There are plenty of facilities for the angler and the family.

Situated 12 miles west of Bellingham, Kielder Water and Forest Park is easily accessible from the A69 at Hexham.

The season opens on all waters from 14 March 2009 and closes 30 November. Bank fishing times are from 8.00am to 9.00pm or sunset (whichever is sooner) 7 days a week.
