It is an area that has much to offer from cycling and walking around the banks, enjoying the visitor centre facilities complete with childrens playgrounds, skating and swimming to enjoying the water facilities from pleasure boat cruises to small boat higher.

How to get here

By Car

Kielder is easily accesssible from the A69 (Newcastle upon Tyne to Carlisle) road. Turn northwards onto the A6079 to Chollerford. Take the B6320 to Bellingham. Take the C200 to Kielder. Alternatively, from the A68 (Darlington to Edinburgh) road.
Take the B6320 and follow the tourism signs to Kielder Water and Forest.
