Kinver Edge

UK»England»Staffordshire»Kinver Edge

Really interesting for both its geology and history. Kinver Edge is a curious hill ridge or escarpement created from sand when this area was a desert over 200 million years ago. There are several interesting geological outcrops here, such as Nanny's Rock. It is now a popular spot for walking and kite flying, with lots of open heath and woodland to explore.
