Lande Du Ouest: This area of heathland became a designated site of special interest in 1996 due to the rich variety of flora and fauna found here. The flora includes a total of 116 species such as Yellow-horned Poppy, Sea Champion and Spotted Rockrose. The mammals found here include mice, shrews and voles. Many birds are seen here such as Ravens, Comorants and Dartford Warblers. This site is also home to the Green Lizard.
