Leam Boat Centre

Leam Boat Centre: The boating lake is only 2 1/2 feet deep so youngsters can try out a wide range of boats in an enclosed and supervised area. Children from age 3 can use the bumper boats on their own or there is plenty of room for an adult and toddler. Kayaks and canoes are suitable from about the age of 6. The pedalos are for 2 to 5 people and are very stable. For the whole family the traditional rowing skiff takes up to a max of 5 people per boat. They glide through the water with minimal effort and provide a relaxing vista on the surrounding gardens. The Walker Bay is an innovative 3 in 1 design that functions as a row boat, a motor boat or a sailing dinghy and is suitable for up to four adults or five persons including children. Showers and changing rooms are available. Bouyancy aids are compulsory on canoe and kayak hire and are available for all craft.
