Lindow Common

UK»England»Cheshire»Lindow Common

Lindow Common in Wilmslow offers areas of heather, a fringe of woodland, wet mires and black lake. A surfaced pathway offers easy access to black lake with its informal paths criss crossing the site. Visitors to the site can appreciate the habitats which add to the commons richness and which have made Lindows heathland so important that it has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Local Nature Reserve. It is requested that visitors do not feed the wildfowl.
