Littlehampton West Beach: This beach is much quieter than Littlehampton East Beach, with its unspoilt sand dunes which are designated a Site of Scientific Interest where wildlife and rare plants can be discovered in their natural habitat. Here lies Littlehampton's Napoleonic Fort Ruins, built in 1854 it was the first of its kind.
