The velodrome is the home to the Great Britain Cycling Team and believe it or not, the Velodrome is also open to everyone regardless of their level of ability. You don't have to be a Chris Hoy or a Victoria Pendleton to feel the thrill of cycling on the track.

If you're looking for a completely unique and exhilarating activity to enjoy in your leisure time, the Manchester Velodrome is the place for you. We provide 1 hour track 'Taster' sessions for beginners with bikes and helmets provided, with reduced rates for School, college and university student groups. Why not enrole on one of our special track training days/seminars.

Although primarily a cycle facility, the Manchester Velodrome offers first class facilities and services for other activities. Facilities include fully Sprung Sports Courts For Basketball, Netball and Badminton.
