Areas of grassland have been reopened, encouraging a range of wild flowers to return. There are also several ponds, restored under Trust management

From Bomere Heath go north towards Merrington. The Green is half mile west of Merrington, along the road to Walford. There is a large car park. A tarmac path around part of the reserve provides access for people of all physical abilities.
